In His Service, Rod Farthing, National Development Director ARM is ministering to needy girls in Battambang, Cambodia, through
the Rapha House. These girls have been victimized in the human slave
trade. Some are as young as 5 years of age. As the number of
girls continues to grow -- we're doubling
the size of our building! See picture below-- we
will need more monthly support.
Dear Sourm, Cambodian Director of Rapha House, filed a
report recently; here are key excerpts.
There are currently 65 girls under Rapha House care; ten are at the reintegration halfway home and 55 are in the Rapha House itself. It was built for 48; the new wing is nearing completion, see more information below. Bill Blair,
ARM Vice President, was with us from July 13-24. Bill helped a lot in
strengthening of management team in these areas: Financial department,
Program department, Education department, and Reintegration department.
He evaluated our programs with the feedback since his last trip in
May 2007 and provided recommendations and strategies for future work.
Stephanie Freed, USA Director of the Rapha House, is working with the team
from July 21-30.
The new
building is 60% completed. The project will be finished by September
2007. Also, the new water system has been completed. Here is a
photograph:
![]() The girls
are receiving "hands-on" training in our agricultural department,
learning this month about growing mushrooms and raising fish.
Our
reintegration project is going well. Ten girls are studying more and
practicing their hair dressing, English, and business skills. They
are learning how to manage a shop inlcluding inventory control. They all
study hard and keep the shop nice and clean. The new hair dresser/trainer
has taught more skill to the girls related to the
business.
As stated
above, ARM recently began building a SECOND house on the Rapha
House compound to increase our capacity up to 100. We have had
as many as 60 girls in the home built for 48. The staff has been
preparing in every way possible to be able to care for the additional
girls. CONSTRUCTION IS NOW UNDERWAY. About $55,000 will
be needed for this expansion -- plus additional operational expenses as
the number of girls increases. Thanks!

Prison Mission: On 11, 18, 25 June 207,
we went to teach the prisoners who committed offenses repeatedly at Phayao
Province Prison. There were 40 people who attended the course and another
six people came to join us too. On the last day, we had so many fun
activities that everyone was impressed. In the morning of the 11th, we
went to teach the Christian group.
On 4, 29, June 2007, we went to Juvenile Training Center Chiang Mai Province. Right now we have 43 children. Two of them are pregnant and will give birth soon. The children here are smart and can learn quickly. Whatever we teach them, they can understand quickly. Editor's note: This is the 'teen prison' where Boonlerd works AND out of which girls come to "Daughters of Ruth." On 22 June 2007, we went to Fang District Prison. There were about 120 prisoners of whom 55 were women came to join us. On 15, 29 June 2007, we went to women prison in Chiang Mai. On the 15, we taught the leader group composing of 14 women. On the 29, we went to preach there and there were about 200 prisoners attending the meeting. "Love in Jesus Christ" Church: We have two new members this month. They were both men who have been released from prison. We thank God for his blessing for our church. Right now our church is getting so over-crowded that some of the people who come to the church service have to sit outside the service room. Love in Jesus Christ the Lord, Boonlerd
Chompukeeree.
Report From Alfredo José Aparicio -June 2007 Dear brethren in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, In June we had 47 baptisms in different parts of the world. Also, 62 of our students graduated from the first series of lessons, and 28 graduated from our advanced courses. Besides, we had 2005 new enrollments. In the City of, two hours east of Mexico City, we planted a new Church. We got together 82 of our students in that area and they are now a new planted congregation. They are all helping in the Church meetings and evangelizing in a city of around 110,000 inhabitants. We started a new Bible Study group in the jail located in Pacho Viejo, in Jalapa, State of Veracruz. This jail has 750 inmates. We have 25 inmates studying God's Word here. Most of them are going through the course entitled God's Revealed Plan. These students are between 20 and 28 years old. Adding this jail, we are reaching 50 of them with our Bible Correspondence Courses. In a Bible study group with university students, we challenged them to read the whole Bible and Evidences that Demand a Verdict, by Josh McDowell. At this moment we have 36 students in this group, coming from different universities, such as Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Universidad del Valle de México, Universidad LaSalle, Universidad Internacional de México, and Universidad Latinoamericana. The challenge is for them to finish the reading of these two books in two months. They will read one of the books in the morning and the other one in the late afternoon. In 15 days of these readings, they have changed their way of thinking. In Christ Jesus, Alfredo José

Dear Brother Rod, Greetings in the Glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Living Lord and Savior! Thank you for sharing this report from the lives of faithful brothers who continue to proclaim the Good News of Jesus in spite of persecution, imprisonment and even death. They are an encouragement to all of us to be found faithful. Gratefully HIS, MS -- Oregon Back to top Report From Dr. Nicholas E. Alyoshin - March 2006 Glory to Christ, my beloved brother! This is
my report for June 2007.
IMMERSIONS. On 26.06.07 I immersed two brethren, who some time ago were the members of the "Radiation Control" rescue team; now they have become rather important officials, connected with the Emergecom of Russia. Namely in this status, having and understanding a big enough responsibility, they felt the necessity to be immersed. PRISONS. A mutiny took place in the beginning
of June in the prison camp in Sheregesh - village of the Tashtagol
district of Kemerovo area (4500 km East from Krasnodar). Two hostages were
taken; two convicts were shot dead by special forces. On 25.06.07 in the
prison camp in Asino-town of Tomsk area (7 000 km East from Krasnodar) 51
convicts publicly cut their blood vessels - as a protest against the
tortures. In June I visited the Krasnodar prison and three prison camps in
our territory.
TURKS. In June I met the Ahiska Turkish family in Abinsk (70 km South - West from Krasnodar) and the one in Krasnodar. We had the praying meetings. Both families are taking part in spreading of the New Testaments in Turkish. Both families are not included in the program of the evacuation to the US. MISSION TRIPS. My daughter Nike (the leader of our
chaplaincy Student Wing) and four other girls (from Krasnodar different
Evangelical Christian congregations) flew to the Southern Korea capital
Seoul, and from there - to the big port Pusan, where a huge international
Christian students congress "Mission - 2007" began on 30.06.2007. The
congress has 20,000 of the participants all over the world. It has been
organized by "Campus Crusade for Christ" and is dedicated to the one
hundred years of Christianity in Korea. Our girls will congratulate
the Korean Christians and inform them, that namely 100 years ago the first
non-orthodox and non-government-controlled congregation of Christians (the
so called Pashkov's group) had been permitted and officially registered in
our city (in 1907 it was named not Krasnodar, but Ekaterinodar) - as the
result of the first Russian revolution (1905 - 1907).
DIVINE ACTION. We have a terrible lack of financial
resources. In These conditions I cannot even think about the re-edition of
my books (including the iconoclastic theological book "Leon the Isaurian",
published in 2001). Imagine my astonishment, when on a day in June I
came home and my wife Nina tells me that some believers have just brought
100 exemplars of "Leon the Isaurian" - they have decided to take part
in the Spiritual war against the idols and reprinted 100 exemplars of the
book for me! Now we have the powerful armament to wrestle "against the
rulers of the darkness of this world" (Eph., 6:13). This is the Divine
Action, indeed!
STUDENT WING. On 19.06.07 my daughter Nike with the exellent mark defended her Mastership work in English philology - "The Development of the Concept "Woman" in English Language". The work was defended in the faculty of the Roman and German Philology of the Kuban State University (Krasnodar). Nike used in this theoretical work the material of the Holy Bible (King James Version) and some English novels. Under Nike's influence some girls of her group also used the Bible and themes, connected with Christianity, in their Mastership works. PUBLIC RELATIONS. On 13.06.2007 I took part in the public discussion on national and religious problems. The high rank officials of Krasnodar Territory took part in it. The discussion (and my participance in it) was twice shown in the local TV. REPRESSIONS. Some Mr.Yevdoschenko Sergei Victorovich
(yevdoschenko@yahoo.com, tel.8-861-2534525, mob. 8-918-3757924) - Master of Psychology and
Master of Divinity (he studied in USA) - is now the member of the
Krasnodar "unregistered" baptists congregation and their church
psychologist. He discovered the terrible crime: one of the famous
Krasnodar orphanages was for 20 years ruled by a pedophile, who received
big donations from USA, Germany, Sweden, Israel, etc., and raped and
corrupted the girls of that orphanage. That pedophile was connected with
the local police. Yevdoschenko decided to stop and to punish the pedophile
and the police officers. He managed to lead this terrific case to the
court. But he is threatened by the police and by the friends of the
pedophile. Yevdoschenko thinks his life is in danger, indeed. So, he tried
to find the defence in the local branch of the right-defending
organization "Memorial". One of the "Memorial" leaders - V.A. Gaskevich -
brought Yevdoschenko to me (because he thinks, that DOM ARM is, indeed,
the last hope of the persecuted). I promised to inform all brethren
about the activity of Yevdoschenko to disclose the crime, because only the
publicity can defend him from corrupt police.
SUPPORT. We received the May support trough
the "We-G0" system of Max Goins OK. We received the letter of support from
T.W. Hunt (USA), the e-mails of support from Rod Farthing (USA),
A.Zabolotniy (Poland), A.Novosyolov (France), and four telephone calls
from N.Plutenko (USA). Our chaplaincy managed also to support some members
of the youth Christian singing group in Krasnodar. The group
contains some people who were brutally persecuted on religious
basis.
In Jesus our hope! Sincerely, DOM ARM chaplain Nicholas E. Alyoshin Report From Ernesto Alocelja -March 2006 1. June, 2007, 53 souls were baptized into
