FOUR THINGS GOD DOES NOT KNOW
by Joe R. Garman

GOD DOES NOT KNOW...

...A SINNER HE DOES NOT LOVE.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"He saved us, not on the basis of deeds we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,..." Titus 3:5

"By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him." I John 4:9

" We love, because He first loved us." I John 4:19

"The Love of God"

Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill
And every man a scribe by trade,

To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry,
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky.

O love of God, how rich and pure
How measureless and strong!
It shall for evermore endure
The saints and angels song.

--F.M. Lehman

GOD DOES NOT KNOW...

...A SIN HE DOES NOT HATE.

"For Thou art not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; no evil dwells in Thee." Psalms 5:4

"The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but He loves him who pursues righteousness." Proverbs 15:9

"Evil plans are an abomination to the Lord, but pleasant words are pure." Proverbs 15:26

"Yet you have not listened to Me, declares the Lord, in order that you might provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm." Jeremiah 25:7

"Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate, declares the Lord." Zechariah 8:17

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness." Romans 1:18

"HOLY, HOLY, HOLY"

Holy, Holy, Holy! All the saints adore Thee
Casting down their golden crowns around
the glassy sea;

Cherubim and Seraphim falling down
before Thee,
Who wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.

--Reginald Heber

GOD DOES NOT KNOW...

...A SINNER HE CANNOT SAVE.

"Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool." Isaiah 1:18

"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon." Isaiah 55:7

"Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short that it cannot save; neither is His ear so dull that it cannot hear." Isaiah 59:1

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, the Jew first and also to the Greek." Romans 1:16

"AMAZING GRACE"

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind but now I see.

Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come;
‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

--John Newton

GOD DOES NOT KNOW...

...A BETTER TIME THAN NOW TO BE SAVED.

"Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near." Isaiah 55:6

"For this reason you be ready too; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not think He will." Matthew 24:44

"...how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard." Hebrews 2:3

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him, and will dine with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:20

"And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come", and let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost." Revelation 22:17

"AT CALVARY"

Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my Lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me He died
On Calvary

Mercy there was great and grace was free,
Pardon there was multiplied to me,
There my burdened soul found liberty
At Calvary

--Wm. R. Newell

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

"He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned." Mark 16:16

"Everyone therefore who shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven." Matthew 10:32

"And Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit’." Acts 2:38

"And now why do you delay? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name." Acts 22:16

"...but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity." II Peter 3:18

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,..." Matthew 28:19

And now, may a dying Savior’s love, and a risen Savior’s Power, a reigning Savior's glory, and a returning Saviors victory be the joy, be the comfort and be the strength of your heart.
