YOUR SEMINAR TEACHER
Upon graduation from OZARK
CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, Joe Garman conducted
evangelistic campaigns across America. He then
became overseas evangelist for the REVIVAL FIRES
Television Ministries, and traveled to 50
countries conducting crusades for Christ. Later
he became a missionary to Korea and Israel.
In 1973 he founded AMERICAN
REHABILITATION MINISTRIES, a world-wide prison
and jail ministry. Out of A.R.M. grew two other
world-wide ministries: AMERICAN MISSIONARY
OUTREACH and AMERICAN BIBLE ACADEMY. His wife,
Linda, is a strong supporter of his ministries.
In Alabama, he was escorted
to safety through the heroic efforts of four
Christian inmates in the midst of a violent
prison disturbance. In Alaska, he received the
good confession of faith from a Satan
worshipper/drug lord.
In China, his mission was
the first and, to this date, the only ministry to
ship Communion Table Baptistries through the
great wall of Communist Red China. In Georgia, he
co-founded the ATLANTA CHAPLAINCY TRAINING
SCHOOL, dedicated to training Christian workers
in how to minister effectively to those in
detention centers, jails, prisons and
reformatories.
In Haiti, a witch doctor
poisoned two people and told the children
"white men eat black babies," in an
effort to prevent his starting a church in one of
the more remote villages. In India, he was forced
to watch as a Hindu man he had just baptized was
beaten to death for becoming a Christian.
In Israel, a Jewish league
led a successful conspiracy to have him and his
family permanently expelled as missionaries. In
Korea, he led a Buddhist Monk to Christ and
baptized over 3,000 people.
In the Philippines,
soldiers sat on top of tanks and troops with
submachine guns surrounded the platforms as he
preached in villages that had been overrun by
rebel militiamen. His ministry was the first to
airlift baptistries filled with Bibles to be
used in the prison systems of Armenia, Russia,
Siberia, the Baltics, and the Ukraine.
In Thailand, the jungle
village where he was preaching fell into the
hands of guerrilla forces who managed to
completely surround and control the area. In
Vietnam, he conducted daytime evangelistic
efforts in Saigon, after the last of the American
troops had been evacuated.
These and many other real life
illustrations are blended into his Bible teaching to make your
seminar "come to life." Brother Garman has been teaching SEE
